Project ManagerSeeking an experienced Project Manager to support business readiness and execution for a portfolio of large-scale initiatives within a financial services organization. This is a business-side Project Management role, not a technical Project Manager position. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and is highly skilled in detailed project planning, stakeholder coordination, dependency management, governance, and executive reporting.This individual will partner with approximately 10–15 internal and external stakeholders, including technology vendors, to ensure initiatives remain organized, risks and dependencies are addressed, and the business is prepared for upcoming changes.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Coordinate business readiness activities supporting large-scale technology and portfolio initiativesDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, workplans, timelines, milestones, and dependenciesTrack risks, issues, action items, deliverables, and cross-functional dependenciesCoordinate across 10–15 internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely follow-upPrepare project status updates, governance materials, and executive-level reportingPartner with business, technology, management, and external vendor teams throughout project executionIdentify potential blockers and proactively drive projects back on trackSupport resource planning, project requirements, feasibility assessments, and cost considerationsOperate independently while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detailMinimum Requirements:5–7+ years of Project Management experience, primarily supporting business rather than technical/engineering teamsBachelor's degreeExperience managing complex, cross-functional projects and business-readiness initiativesStrong project planning, governance, dependency management, and executive reporting experienceExperience coordinating multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and external vendorsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, and VisioExceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-throughAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesAbility to work onsite in Owings Mills, MD Monday–ThursdayPreferred Qualifications:PMP or PMI certificationFinancial services, banking, retirement, asset management, or other regulated-industry experienceExperience supporting business readiness for technology implementations, transformations, or system changesExperience partnering with external technology vendors
