As part of a collaborative team, you’ll play an essential role in assessing students, conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing individualized and group therapy sessions. Your expertise will help shape educational strategies and outcomes for students, while administrative time and participation in team meetings will be compensated as part of your regular hours.

What we’re seeking:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Virginia
• Background in school-based or pediatric SLP services, ideally at the high school level
• Experience overseeing assessments, conducting evaluations, and writing IEPs
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary education team
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Experience navigating virtual meeting platforms (Zoom/Teams)
• Commitment to a full school year assignment

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and student evaluations
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and team planning
• Provide evidence-based direct therapy to students
• Complete timely documentation and progress reporting
• Travel between assigned locations, with travel time compensated
