Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II  to support our client's healthcare facility in [city, state] . 

Job Details: 
Schedule:   Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM EST
Location:   Alpharetta, GA 30004
Job Type: Local contract 
Contract Length: 13+ weeks
Pay Range: $24 to $26/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection accurately and safely
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Handle both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing according to established procedures
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain required signatures
• Confirm that specimen tubes are properly labeled in the patient's presence
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Provide a professional, welcoming, and reassuring experience for patients
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

Requirements: 

• Education:  High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience:  Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:   Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections .
