The Gift Shop Attendant is responsible for supporting the efficient and guest-focused operation of the retail shop by ensuring merchandise is well-maintained, transactions are processed accurately, and service standards are consistently upheld. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive shopping experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while assisting guests with courtesy and professionalism. Your attention to detail, product knowledge, and commitment to high-quality service directly contribute to revenue performance and reinforce the exceptional guest experience expected at Live! Casino & Hotel.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Responsible for maintaining a friendly, courteous atmosphere in the Gift Shop at all times and assisting all guests whenever necessary
• Ringing up sales and giving correct change
• Responsible for keeping the Gift Shop clean and orderly
• Assisting in month-end inventory
• Ensure the safety and security of guest and others visiting the gift shop
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Retail customer service training would be a plus
• At least One (1) Two (2) years' experience in a high-volume retail store with use if electronic cash register and variety in inventory.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
• Ability to regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
