Overview

Responsible for preparing and applying paint to vehicles and automotive parts, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets industry and customer standards. This role involves surface preparation, color matching, and the use of specialized spray equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming
• Mix and match paint to achieve accurate color specifications
• Apply paint, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and other equipment
• Inspect completed work to ensure smooth, even coverage and quality standards
• Repair minor surface imperfections before painting
• Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace
• Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and materials

Requirements:

• Previous automotive painting experience preferred
• Knowledge of paint mixing, blending, and finishing techniques
• Ability to operate spray equipment and related tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 5075 lbs as needed
• Ability to bend, stoop, and work in tight spaces
