Verification Technologist - Transfusion

Overview We are looking for a The Verification Technologist who is responsible for performing system tests for the development and performance of new and modified consumables, hardware, software, or assays. Responsibilities Executes Verification Testing Protocols on all existing systems and new platforms in development. Documents test results in accordance with standard operating procedures. Understands the relationship between the requirements outlined and actual system results. Works independently as well as with the team to complete the assigned work on schedule. Possesses a laboratory background with the ability to learn and understand serological tasks like preparing dilutions and performing manual testing with various methodologies. Performs maintenance on the systems when needed. Maintains lab work surfaces and lab space. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences or other sciences or a technical field preferred. Relevant laboratory knowledge and experience, required. Experience in a medical testing laboratory with automated testing systems is desired but not required.
