Your Role Awaits

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses independently, or in collaboration with physicians (based on your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your practice zone
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enable seamless and holistic patient care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records within electronic medical systems (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Hawaii
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
