Work Environment\nThis position offers a remote work setting that integrates flexible scheduling typically from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring they have consistent access to therapy without the need for in-person visits. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients. \n
- Collaborate with clients to design comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and preferences. \n
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective interventions. \n
- Assist clients and their families by providing education regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care practices. \n
- Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback. \n
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. \n
- Stay informed regarding the latest research and advancements in mood disorders to enhance treatment protocols and strategies. \n
- Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. \n
- Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities. \n
- Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues. \n
Your focus will primarily be on clients grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also provide assistance to marginalized groups, such as homeless individuals, domestic abuse survivors, and refugees, helping them navigate emotional hurdles and reclaim their stability and peace of mind.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field. \n
