Hourly Pay Range: $57.79 - $79.76 per hour. Position Details Title: Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) – General Gastroenterology – Medical Group Location: Skokie Hospital - Ambulatory Care Center, Skokie, IL Employment Type: Full‑Time (average 40 hours per week) Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM (no weekends, holidays, or on‑call) Travel: Evanston, Glenview, Highland Park, Vernon Hills Work Setting: Outpatient clinic–based Responsibilities Provide patient care under the direction of collaborating physicians. Obtain detailed patient history, perform physical examinations, order and interpret imaging, laboratory, and diagnostic studies. Instruct patients on therapeutic regimens and pre‑/post‑operative instructions. Maintain records and write progress notes on status, treatments, and procedures. Follow patients through the course of treatment in both clinic and hospital settings. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic therapies as appropriate. Demonstrate evidence‑based practice and engage in continuous quality improvement. Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of specialty standards of practice. Assess patient and family learning needs; employ strategies, interventions, and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health. Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under protocol for acute and chronic illness and disease. Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury across settings for individuals, families, and communities. Work autonomously and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants. Contribute to safety outcomes and high‑quality patient experience. Participate in service‑line goal development and implementation. Support the organization’s strategic plan. Adhere to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures. Qualifications License: Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in IL; mandatory Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License. Education: Completion of a Master’s level program in a relevant specialty. Certification: Must hold current BLS/CPR certification.
