Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler / Cleaning Crew

Duration: Year long contract

Shift: Day Shift, 6am-6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule

Job Overview:

This role supports sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing by handling materials, transferring items into classified cleanroom areas, and performing critical cleaning tasks. Team members must follow strict procedures to maintain compliance, cleanliness, and safety in a GMP-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Tub Loading at Filler:

• Unload pallets of syringe tubs.
• Place tubs onto the assembly line to support continuous filling operations.
• Inspect tubs for damage and verify labeling.

Material Airlock (MAL) Transfers:

• Clean and prepare items per SOPs before transferring into classified areas.
• Follow aseptic techniques and documentation requirements.
• Use proper PPE and pass-through protocols.

Classified Area Cleaning:

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of cleanrooms and equipment.
• Use approved cleaning agents and follow validated procedures.
• Wear enhanced PPE and maintain detailed cleaning logs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable wearing full PPE and working in cleanroom environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Prior experience in GMP or cleanroom settings is a plus.
