Local Team Collaboration:

Join our close-knit team of 21 physicians and 0 APPs at UF Jacksonville Hospital.
700-bed, Level I tertiary facility with separate academic service.

Qualifications:

ABIM or ABFM certified with prior hospitalist experience.
Requires a minimum of 1 year of recent, previous hospitalist experience. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Authorized to work in the United States.
We proudly sponsor H1B & J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support.

Scheduling:

7-days-on, 7-days-off scheduling with flexibility for time off, eg - attend conferences, vacation, etc., and opportunity for moonlighting bonus.
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM rounding shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Round on average 18 patients/shift with 2-3 admissions as part of the average of 18.
Help support the hospitalist team's efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at UF Jacksonville North Hospital.
Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
Closed ICU with 24/7 Intensivist.
No procedures, no code, but run rapid on own patients.
