Barista at Stormy Cafe - Jersey City
Join the team at Stormy Cafe, a vibrant new coffee shop in Jersey City! We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to craft exceptional coffee experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, tea, and other beverages with precision and care.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other barista equipment.
- Provide outstanding customer service, taking orders, handling transactions, and engaging with patrons.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee bar and seating area.
- Monitor inventory and assist with restocking supplies.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a barista is preferred, but passionate and quick learners are encouraged to apply.
- A genuine love for coffee and a desire to learn about various brewing methods and bean origins.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
