Schedule

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with no call requirements. 4 weekend shifts required as part of the schedule.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in a Level 4 designated maternal center that specializes in caring for complex patients at any gestation. The Labor and Delivery unit accommodates 22 beds, including 16 labor beds, and comprises a diverse team of approximately 100 staff members. This fast-paced, team-oriented environment requires an RN to provide exceptional care for high-risk maternal patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, focusing on high-risk maternal patients.
• Assist in vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placements and removals, D&C, C-hyst, and PASD cases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Utilize EMR systems (CPN and Meditech) for efficient patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients is a must.
• Experience in circulating operating room and triage preferred.
• Candidates with greater than 5 years of experience will be prioritized.
