Outside Sales Representative
Triangle Fastener Corporation, a national distributor and manufacturer of fasteners, tools, sealants, and accessories for commercial construction, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative. In this field-based role, you will manage a defined territory, calling on contractors and builders to grow sales of fastening solutions and related products. You'll build long-term relationships, visit jobsites, provide product recommendations, and coordinate closely with inside sales and operations. This position offers product training, advancement opportunities, and the chance to support major commercial projects in a stable, growth-oriented company.
Responsibilities
- Grow sales of fasteners, tools, and related products to commercial construction contractors
- Develop and manage a territory plan and maintain a strong opportunity pipeline
- Conduct regular on-site customer visits to understand project needs and recommend solutions
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical guidance with support from internal experts
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, and orders to close business and meet targets
- Collaborate with inside sales, operations, and logistics to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines in assigned territory
- Maintain accurate CRM records of activities, opportunities, and customer interactions
- Support jobsite problem-solving and provide responsive customer service
- Participate in ongoing sales and product training to expand technical knowledge
