Schedule: Mon - Thurs 5am - 5pm (Mandatory overtime on Fridays if needed)
Pay: $16.00/hr
Location: Newton, NC
Job Type: Temp to Hire

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation.
• Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations. Maintain the department/facility in an everyday audit ready condition.
• Ability to operate machinery on a production line including high speed packaging equipment.
• Follow all food safety and personal safety rules and regulations.
• Perform all required checks, including visual checks as well as product size and weight checks.
• Immediately communicates any deviation from standards to Team Leader.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement activities and occasionally attends off-shift meetings as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis, climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and overtime, as needed.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
