Travel RN – NICU (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 3 shifts per week | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level 2 NICU setting, caring for infants 32 weeks gestational age and above, up to 30 days old
• Manage patients on CPAP, Hi-Flow, and IV therapy; perform and assist with UVCs and occasional surfactant administration
• Perform catch and transition of newborns at delivery and support mother-baby unit as census requires
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 for CPAP patients, 1:2 standard, and up to 1:3 for feeder-grower patients
• Document patient care using the CPN electronic documentation system
• Collaborate closely with labor, postpartum, and NICU teams within an integrated women's services unit

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience in a hospital setting
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Current CPR certification
• Proficiency with CPAP, Hi-Flow, IVs, OG tubes, PANDA warmers, and Giraffe warmers; no ventilator experience required (vented patients are transferred)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Mother-baby nursing experience or willingness to cross-train to mother-baby unit
• Familiarity with CPN documentation system
• Experience with surfactant administration and UVC placement
