RN - Clinic/Ambulatory

Duties:

• This position is for the Ambualtory Care Pediatric Clinic.
• The Agency Staff Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, and age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients in the Ambulatory Care Pediatric Clinic.
• Responsibilities will include patient assessment and triage, medication administration, immunizations, patient and family education, care coordination, documentation, and assisting providers with clinic procedures.
• The nurse will monitor patients for changes in condition, respond appropriately to urgent needs, maintain infection prevention and safety standards, and support efficient clinic operations.
• The nurse is also expected to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and adhere to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and standards of pediatric nursing practice.

Skills:

• Two (2) years of Med/Surg or clinic experience is required.
• IV insertion and phlebotomy skills are required.
• PEDIATRIC OR AMBULATORY CARE NURSING EXPERIENCE-required

Education:

• Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accreditated Nursing Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• New York State RN License.
• Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
• AHA BLS.
• AHA ACLS (Queens only)

Shift:

• 37.50 hours/weekly
• 5days/weekly
• 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
