Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Night Shift position in Telemetry/Med-Surg. The shift is scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM with set schedules available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in both Telemetry and Med-Surg units.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in their condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience in Med-Surg nursing is required.
  • Telemetry / Step Down experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
  • Experience with Alaris pumps and Omnicell medications.
Patient Care Ratios
  • Med-Surg/Observational: 1 nurse to 6 patients
  • Step Down: 1 nurse to 4 patients
Additional Information
  • Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exceptions.
  • Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius from the facility.
  • Requests for time off (RTO) are limited to a maximum of 3 days during the 13-week contract.
  • The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment, and guaranteed hours do not apply.
  • The option to take call during periods of low census may be available.
