Job Title: Facility Janitor (Office & Warehouse)

Pay:

• $18.00 per hour

Shift:

• 4-hour shift between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Standard shift: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling available

Job Description:


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facility Janitor to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout office and warehouse areas. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, sanitary, and well-maintained environment for employees and visitors.


Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean windows and surfaces
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock supplies as needed
• Empty trash and recycling and dispose of properly
• Clean furniture, partitions, blinds, baseboards, and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior entryways and ensure clear emergency exits
• Wash and sanitize water coolers and kitchen areas
• Operate dishwashers and assist with general upkeep of break areas
• Clean HVAC vents, interior windows, and other facility features as needed
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture when required
• Maintain organization of janitorial supply areas
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment
• Follow all safety protocols and proper chemical handling procedures
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly

Requirements:

• High school diploma preferred (not required)
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience strongly preferred
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift/move objects and perform physical tasks
