Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer Level 2 to support and execute new product introductions into manufacturing. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving production issues, improving and documenting manufacturing processes, and driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives. You will collaborate closely with contract manufacturers and internal production teams to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute NPI (new product introduction) into manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day production issues.
• Improve and document manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Partner with contract manufacturers and internal production teams.

• 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role.
• Experience supporting production environments.
• Exposure to NPI and product launches into manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product design.
• Experience working cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve real-time production issues.
• Experience with CAD for fixture design and minor product design tweaks.
• Ability to discuss product changes coherently with engineering.

• Experience with contract manufacturers.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Experience defining labor standards and assembly times.
• ISO 9000 familiarity or audit exposure.

This role operates in a fast-paced production environment and requires significant international travel, approximately one week per month, to Mexico, the US, the EU, and Taiwan. The initial ramp-up period may involve up to 75% travel for the first few months. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Reno, NV.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
