Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a hospital setting. This position involves providing care to patients on medical-surgical units, including those requiring telemetry monitoring, within a healthcare facility. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional with relevant certifications and experience to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Job Details: Position Description: CRISIS RATES 2020 Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility. Certifications, Education, and Experience: A valid BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification are required. Candidates should have completed a basic arrhythmia exam with a score of 85% or greater and possess telemetry experience. Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, Minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms, providing bedside patient care, and adhering to hospital protocols for COVID-19 and isolation units. Additional information: Epic electronic medical record experience is preferred.
