Our therapists are equipped with the necessary tools to administer care effectively, ranging from exercise modalities to educational resources. The role requires adaptability, as therapists will need to navigate various home environments while ensuring safety and comfort for patients. Our approach emphasizes a cooperative dynamic, where communication with patients and their families is vital for optimal therapy outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement tailored therapy programs in alignment with patients' specific needs and rehabilitation goals.Guide patients in executing prescribed exercises, ensuring proper techniques to maximize recovery.Utilize manual therapy methods, including massage and stretching, to promote healing and alleviate pain.Monitor patient progress meticulously before, during, and after therapy sessions, reporting significant changes to the overseeing physical therapist.Employ assistive devices like walkers or braces to facilitate mobility and independence as per treatment needs.Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care strategies to enhance their recovery journey.Engage in mentorship and training for junior staff, sharing technical skills and insights to foster team growth.Fulfill additional job-related duties as assigned, contributing to a collaborative team-based environment.Patient Population / Client FocusOur patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We focus on providing personalized care that addresses each patient's unique challenges and goals. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will engage with patients of various ages and backgrounds, ensuring that therapy settings are adapted to meet their needs while promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere during sessions.QualificationsMinimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program, with a specialization in orthopedics preferred.Current California Physical Therapy License (PT).Strong communication and interpersonal skills to encourage patient engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams.Proficiency in performing evaluations, creating treatment plans, and modifying them as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.Preferred ExperienceExperience in home care settings, with a solid understanding of the unique complexities that arise in this environment.Expertise in using therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques specific to orthopedic conditions.Prior experience in mentoring or training other staff members is highly valued.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation for this position ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
