PreOp-PACU travel nurse jobs at the facility in Rapid City, SD let you care for patients recovering from orthopedic and specialty surgical procedures in a Magnet-recognized hospital. You will monitor post-anesthesia patients, assess vital signs, and support safe transitions from surgery to recovery. You must have an active South Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and recent post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Experience with preoperative and PACU skills, including ortho, neuro, and ENT cases, is preferred.
