Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in a scenic region renowned for its outdoor recreation, luxurious spas, and renowned restaurants. This position involves delivering coordinated perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment, including pre-operative and PACU phase II workflows. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Job Details: Schedule: Rotating shift, Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week, with start times between 5:30 am and 11:00 am, based on case volume. Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS certification from an approved vendor; at least 2 years of experience; current BLS and ACLS certifications; experience with outpatient surgery, perioperative procedures, moderate sedation, EPIC electronic health record system; comfortable with pre-op and PACU phase II workflows, including open heart and total joint patients. Preferred Qualifications: Endoscopy experience, outpatient surgery experience, experience with rapid patient turnover, perioperative experience, and familiarity with fast-paced outpatient procedures are strongly preferred. Additional Information: Must have endoscopy experience, be comfortable with pre-op and PACU phase II workflows, and have EPIC experience. Experience with moderate sedation and high patient throughput is a plus.
