Vice President, Construction

VP, Projects – Chicago, IL Job Summary Lead and manage a high‑performing team of project managers in the Projects, Development & Services (PDS) organization, overseeing the delivery of commercial real‑estate projects from inception to completion while driving business development, sales and cross‑selling initiatives. Responsibilities Build and mentor a team of project managers, fostering professional growth and maintaining a culture of collaboration. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned with client expectations. Develop and implement project management strategies and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure timely, on‑budget, quality delivery. Champion inclusive teamwork and support wellbeing and diversity initiatives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnering with business development to grow client relationships. Lead sales and cross‑selling meetings; develop client pursuit strategies and secure new projects across the PDS platform. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field. Minimum 10 years of project management experience in commercial real‑estate, demonstrating successful delivery of complex projects. Proven leadership of high‑performing teams with strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools with a track record of process improvement. Financial acumen: managing budgets and financial reporting. Excellent client‑management skills, building and maintaining long‑term relationships. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree (MBA or related field) or advanced certifications (PMP, LEED, Six Sigma). Experience in a global organization and multicultural cross‑functional teamwork. Knowledge of industry‑leading project management software. Business development experience and successful new project acquisition. Willingness to travel as needed. Compensation Salary range: 120,000 - 150,000 USD per year (estimate; final compensation determined by qualifications, location, market conditions).
