Overview: Commissions and Fees Admin Chicago - Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite and 1 Days Remote About The Role: In this Commission and Fees Admin role within our Operations team, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily commission and fee functions. What You'll Do:
- Independently manage commission and fee updates by partnering with IBs and Traders-updating rates and adjusting accounts as needed based on impact analysis.
- Own the daily posting of commission and fee adjustments, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Maintain accurate membership configurations within the Fees Direct System to support proper fee application.
- Coordinate with the New Accounts team to implement commission and fee structures for new clients in the Fees Direct System.
- Investigate discrepancies by tracking trades end-to-end to identify and resolve issues.
- Partner with the Balancing team on commission and fee charges related to client transfers.
- Interpret and apply exchange fee schedules from both U.S. and international markets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, including SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and global exchanges.
- Adhere to the company's operational risk framework, ensuring all activities meet regulatory and internal standards.
- Uphold the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
- Act in accordance with the company's Code of Conduct at all times:
- Stay informed of and fully comply with all internal policies relevant to your role and areas of responsibility.
- Promptly report any policy breaches to Compliance and/or your supervisor.
- Immediately escalate any identified risk events.
- Contribute to risk management efforts by providing input and support as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the commodities industry required with Associate's degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary systems (XTP, Fees Direct) and vendor platforms such as EFS and FIA Docs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Experience in a regulated environment with a solid understanding of related risk and compliance requirements
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
- Capable of managing high responsibility in a high-volume workflow
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership, while knowing when to escalate issues
- Skilled in relationship building, networking, and influencing across teams
- Strategic collaborator with insight and agility, able to anticipate future challenges, ensuring operational effectiveness.
