Responsibilities Light Housekeeping : dusting, vacuuming, tidying rooms, spot‑clean walls and carpets, cleaning refrigerator interiors and exteriors, wiping stove tops, hoods, backsplashes, kitchen tables and countertops, washing dishes, emptying trash, sweeping/vacuuming and damp mopping kitchen and bathroom floors, cleaning bathroom fixtures, making the bed with fresh linens. Bathroom Cleaning : sweeping and damp mopping the floor, cleaning medicine cabinets, mirrors, and fixtures for sink, toilet, bathtub, and shower; wiping toilet seat and base. Kitchen Cleaning : cleaning refrigerator exteriors, wiping stove, oven, hood and backsplash, cleaning kitchen table and countertops, washing, drying, and putting away dishes, stacking and emptying the dishwasher, cleaning sink, kitchen cabinets, and sweeping or damp mopping the floor. Grocery Shopping : trips to nearest grocery store or food bank for client groceries, obtaining a shopping list and money or food card, purchasing, returning to home and storing groceries, providing receipt and change. Laundry : collecting and sorting dirty laundry, washing, drying, folding, returning clean laundry to home, arranging in drawers or hangers, hanging in closet. Meal Preparation : preparing quick meals such as sandwiches, soup, heating frozen dinners, scrambled eggs, toast, and salads. Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends. Provide two employment references. Current TB test. Reliable transportation. Preferred: drivers or Personal Care Aides or Home Health Aides; Nursing Aides and CNAs encouraged to apply. Reliability and ability to keep a schedule.
