Lab Assistant

Labcorp seeks a Lab Assistant in Greenville, NC to support clinical laboratory operations. The role involves specimen processing, data entry, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and prepare clinical specimens for testing and analysis
- Scan and enter specimen and patient information into systems
- Monitor lab equipment functionality and perform routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot specimen-related issues and maintain work area cleanliness
- Replenish supplies and complete administrative records and logs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort handling biological specimens
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking capability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
