Overview Dental Hygienist — Dental Arts of Aurora is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. This office is described as a perfect place for new graduates. Hours needed: Monday 7:45–5:00, Tuesday 7:45–5:00, Wednesday 6:45–4:00, Thursday 8:45–6:00. About Dental Arts Of Aurora Dental Arts of Aurora, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and the patients they serve. With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained team on site, and a vast network of experts across the nation, you’ll be connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Ohio and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation. CPR Certification. Preferred Experience New grads and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health. Clinical needs as required by the office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year. A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions and must be completed prior to starting employment.
