Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Fitter to assemble and fit structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with layout, measuring, tack welding, and using fabrication tools in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Fit, align, and assemble structural steel components.
• Measure, mark, cut, and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Perform tack welding to secure parts prior to final welding.
• Operate hand tools, grinders, torches, and fabrication equipment.
• Verify dimensions and maintain quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a structural or vessel fitter.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Experience with oxy-fuel cutting, grinding, and layout.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
