Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner will perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations. The role involves diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions, developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans. The practitioner will order, interpret, and analyze laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies, while managing and monitoring patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, and other cardiovascular diseases.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
• Manage and monitor patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
• Provide preventive health services, screenings, and patient education.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Florida regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease management and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license (APRN)
• National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, ACNP, or related specialty)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in medical terminology and internal medicine

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

The position requires onsite work in a clinic located in Hollywood, FL for two days a week, specifically Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hollywood, FL.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
