Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Days | Monday – Friday | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:30–16:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures across a patient population spanning pediatrics to geriatrics, including HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying studies, brain death studies, and renal scans with or without Lasix
• Conduct Myocardial Perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 whole body scans, I-131 ablations, and parathyroid studies
• Operate and document within unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and PACS
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled: Monday–Friday 16:00–22:00 and Saturday–Sunday 08:00–22:00 (approximately 1–2 days per week and every fourth weekend)
• Be available to perform STAT inpatient studies at an additional affiliated facility location as needed
• Work applicable major holidays per assignment schedule, in accordance with facility holiday policy

Required Qualifications

• NMTCB certification and/or ARRT (NM) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred; first-time travelers are accepted
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS required
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to the start date; delays may result in a two-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
• All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes or RTO requests will be accepted post-offer or during orientation week
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with a broad patient population from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Familiarity with a wide range of nuclear medicine modalities including SPECT imaging and radioiodine procedures
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments and STAT inpatient requests across facilities
