Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: Nights 7a-7p

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Must not be a previous employee of the facility
• At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department setting
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience
• Candidates with hits/actions on License/Background will not be accepted

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
• Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed
• Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
• Serve as charge nurse and preceptor when needed

Compliance / Notes:

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
