Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arizona to include, but not limited to the cities of Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, Green Valley, Oro Valley, and Tucson.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including Saturdays as neededJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomistAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work in fast paced / high volume work environmentsAble to pass a standardized color blindness testBe at least 21 years of ageValid Driver's License and clean driving recordReliable transportationFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
