Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population in a general Medical Surgical unit
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:6
• Utilize unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for documentation and communication
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to weekend rotation requirements, working every other weekend
• Work required holidays per assignment period in accordance with facility holiday policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse; first-time travelers accepted
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or post-onsite

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical unit setting
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance and onboarding processes
• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
