A leading regional distributor is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Counter Sales & Inside Support Associate to help drive the growth of their specialized Foodservice lines of business.

This dynamic role is the perfect blend of traditional face-to-face counter sales and strategic inside sales support. You will be the go-to technical and logistical resource for local contractors, business owners, and field technicians, helping them source the exact equipment, parts, and systems they need to succeed.

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $19.00 / hour

• Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Consultations: Greet walk-in clients at the parts counter and field incoming phone calls, providing exceptional product recommendations and technical support.

• Sales Growth: Actively support the growth of the Foodservice line by providing accurate pricing information, generating quotes, and cross-selling relevant parts and accessories.

• Logistics & Order Management: Provide customers with real-time updates regarding order status, shipping timelines, and product availability.

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, track inventory data, and assist in maintaining a well-organized counter and showroom area.

• Relationship Building: Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with local commercial contractors, mechanics, and business accounts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).

• Industry Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working with HVAC systems and/or Commercial Foodservice equipment (such as commercial refrigeration, ice machines, beverage systems, or water filtration) is highly preferred and will give you a major advantage.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

• Analytical Skills: Strong basic math and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret inventory data, pricing structures, and equipment specifications.
