Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Progressive Care Unit is based in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while supervising ancillary nursing personnel. The nurse will participate in patient education, discharge planning, and ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Rochelle Park, New Jersey
• Shift Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required prior to first shift; ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required prior to first shift for CIRH only
• Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience; minimum one (1) year of ICU experience highly desired
• Education & Experience: No specific degree or education credential required beyond certifications; one year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within eight hours of patient admission, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, documenting patient responses and interventions promptly, supporting discharge planning, and participating in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.
• Additional duties include maintaining safety standards, delegating tasks appropriately, and supporting cost-effective care delivery.
