This hospital-based facility is a Level IV Trauma Center offering comprehensive inpatient care, including labor and delivery services, emergency department coverage, and OB/GYN call support. The facility utilizes Meditech as its EMR system and provides strong infrastructure for locum providers, including temporary privileges availability and an estimated credentialing timeframe of one to two weeks. Board Certified - OB/GYN Job Details:
- Locum Tenens opportunity providing inpatient call coverage for scheduled coverage gaps in labor and delivery
- Coverage dates: October 9, 2026 (8:00 AM) through October 12, 2026 (8:00 AM) and December 24, 2026 (8:00 AM) through December 28, 2026 (8:00 AM)
- 24-hour call coverage required with both in-house and beeper/phone call responsibilities
- One provider on call at a time with an average callback volume of approximately 15 hours
- Average daily patient volume of 5 patients, approximately 85% inpatient and 15% outpatient call coverage
- Manage labor and delivery patients as the sole on-call physician during scheduled coverage periods
- Provide OB/GYN emergency department call coverage and consultations
- Perform phone triage responsibilities
- Perform Dilation and Curettage (DC) procedures when clinically indicated
- Active Michigan license required at time of submission
- Board Certified OB/GYN required
- BLS and DEA Certification required
- Fellowship training required
- Labor and delivery experience required
- Clean background and license history required
- EMR: Meditech
- Travel reimbursements include airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at IRS rate
