A diverse workforce, combined with an inclusive culture, makes USPI stronger and better able to meet the needs of our diverse patient and physician population.Required SkillsEducation, Training and Experience Requirements:Current CA Nursing LicenseCurrent CPR, ACLSGraduate of an accredited school of nursingMinimum 2 year experience in a hospital settingAbility to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.Excellent communication skillsAbility to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patientUnderstands principles of aseptic technique and their implementationAbility to care for patients from infancy to geriatricsExcellent teaching skillsBasic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideologyRequired Experience:Experience working in an ASC is a plus.Must be team-oriented and patient-focused.
