Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic imaging services using X-ray, fluoroscopy, and related equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure quality images are captured while maintaining patient safety and adhering to department protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic equipment including c-arm, fluoroscopy, and X-ray machinery to perform imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams, including positioning and explaining procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately within the EMR and PACS systems.
• Follow department guidelines for infection control, safety, and patient care.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Possess a valid WV State Radiology License.
• Have BLS certification current at the time of employment.
• Demonstrate experience with fluoroscopy, c-arm, and high-volume imaging (approximately 400 scans per day).
• Be able to operate Epic and Fuji Synapse PACS software.
• Maintain an unexpired driver's license and provide required radiation badge.
