In this role, youll provide companionship, personal care, and support with daily living activities bringing comfort, dignity, and kindness into each clients day./ppFlexible Shifts Available/pulliWeekday availability plus rotating weekends required/liliShifts vary: 4, 6, 8, or 12 hours depending on client needs/liliMorning and evening shifts available/li/ulpCaregiver Job Responsibilities:/pulliProviding meaningful companionship/liliAssisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, etc.)/liliSupporting daily living tasks (light housekeeping, home cooked meal preparation, medication reminders)/liliProviding transportation if needed (to appointments, the bank, grocery shopping etc.)/liliCreating a safe, positive, and respectful environment/li/ulpThe Interim Healthcare Caregiver may not:/pulliPerform any skilled nursing procedure, which is prohibited by the State Nurse Practice Act./liliReconcile bank statements, endorse checks, or use any form of the clients credit for personal use./li/ulpMinimum Caregiver Education Experience Requirements:/pulliMust be registered with the state as a caregiver (must have HCA / Per ID 10 Digit number)/liliMust be 18 years of age or older. Any training required by state law or regulation/liliSix (6) to Twelve (12) months of accumulated experience in a similar job Active/liliCPR certification/liliCovid Vaccination (if available)/liliTB test (within 2 years)/liliDrivers License with Valid car insurance/li/ulpKnowledge, Skills Abilities Required:/pulliSuccessful completion of appropriate knowledge (competency) assessment./liliAble to hear, speak and write and read in English (to take notes at Dr. appointments if needed)/liliBilingual plus./li/ulpWorking Conditions Physical Effort:/pulliAble to constantly travel locally from assignment to assignment./liliAble to constantly stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and reach freely./liliAble to constantly grasp with thumb in contrast to fingers of palm, i.e. manipulate pen, knobs or objects./liliFrequent exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and/or other potentially infectious or hazardous materials./liliAble to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds in order to carry out daily job functions and related activities that may be required./li/ulpSalary: $20.00 per hour/ppBenefits/pulliSick Pay/Direct Deposit/lili401k retirement savings plan/liliFlexible schedule/liliReferral program/li/ulpWhy Work for Interim Chatsworth?/ppJoin our team as a caregiver and make a real difference every day.
