Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care in the Emergency Room setting, addressing a variety of patient needs including trauma stabilization, sepsis, cardiac events, and stroke. The role involves working in a 16-bed unit with capabilities for additional treatment spaces. Patients range from pediatric to adult, encompassing a wide spectrum of emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• CPR and codes management
• Handling traumas and assisting with bedside procedures
• Mixing and administering medications, including cardiac drips
• IV insertions and management of foleys and NG tubes
• Triaging patients

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years trauma experience, or 5+ years if first-time traveler
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
• Experience with ultrasound guided IV is a plus
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred
