Senior Interior Designer

We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer with a rare combination: the artistic soul of a visionary and the steady, organized mind of a great project manager. You will bridge big-picture design direction and the day-to-day execution that brings it to life. Beyond leading beautiful projects, you will help shape where the firm goes by tapping your network to bring new commissions through our doors. Our stack includes AutoCAD, Miro, ClickUp, and Studio Designer. What you will be doing: Lead the creative narrative through design charrettes and immersive mood boards that turn client dreams into livable, glamorous spaces Produce shop-drawing-quality construction documents in AutoCAD, with expert detailing of millwork, stone, and integrated lighting, coordinated with MEP and structural engineers Own construction administration as the site lead, attending weekly meetings and creatively solving field issues without compromising vision or timeline Project management and operations: Build and maintain detailed budgets and schedules, spotting the critical path Guide junior team members so every milestone lands with precision Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from proposals through expediting Run a data-aware studio with a personal target of 80 percent billable efficiency Leadership and business development: Use your network to win new high-end residential opportunities and represent Ovadia IDA at industry events Mentor our Junior and Intermediate Designers and champion their growth Serve as the face of the project for clients, building trust that lasts for years What is in it for you: Salary of $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience A competitive commission structure for new business you bring in Comprehensive health benefits Paid time off Professional development support Ready to lead beautiful work with people who love what they do?
