About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team for a travel assignment. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide high-quality therapy services designed to improve functional abilities, increase independence, and enhance overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, coordination, strength, balance, upper extremity function, and overall functional performance
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs and rehabilitation goals
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive equipment, home exercise programs, and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on restoring function and maximizing independence
• Adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, documentation systems, and patient populations

Requirements

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Required: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
• Previous clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
