Job Details Location: Star Island Management - Kissimmee, FL 34746 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Any Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel Summary This position is primarily responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, and balancing heating, cooling, and ventilating systems in resort hotel and repairing unit appliances. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Servicing air conditioner units. Troubleshooting air conditioner problems. Repairing weld lines. Replacing capacitors. Charging units. Replacing boards. Other general air conditioner issues. Working and documenting a preventive maintenance program. Repairing domestic appliances and water heaters. A.) from two-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in both R22 and 410. Electrical Knowledge. General maintenance skills. EPA, Universal license. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. English required. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
