Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform IV starts, assist with chest tube insertion, and titrate medications (pressors, insulin, sedation)
• Administer stroke treatment, including TPA, and manage trauma cases
• Participate in tasks such as lab draws and maintaining contamination-free blood cultures
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Active RN License
• 2 years of recent ED experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC; CPI/MOAB, TCRN, TNS, ENPC preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR and skills such as US-guided IV placement
