Medical Laboratory Technician

Schedule

This is a 91-week contract position with the following shifts:

• July: 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Thursday - Saturday: 18:00 - 06:30
• Sunday - Wednesday: 20:00 - 06:30
• August onwards: 4x10s, 12:00 - 20:30 with fluctuations due to staffing needs
• Every other Sunday

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests under the CLIA 88 regulations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the testing process. The role requires meeting all personnel requirements for testing personnel and maintaining quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses as per established protocols
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulations
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
• Document test results and maintain accurate records
• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to testing and procedures

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by a recognized certifying agent or eligibility for registry
• Ability to meet personnel requirements under CLIA 88
