Group Sales Manager

Group Sales Manager We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Group Sales Manager to drive group business at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality. Responsibilities Drive group sales by proactively reaching out to new and past clients to generate group and event business. Respond to inquiries quickly and guide clients through the booking process. Build lasting relationships that encourage repeat business. Support events from start to finish: gather all key event details, communicate them clearly to internal teams, and ensure each group’s experience is smooth, organized, and successful. Keep client files and records accurate and up-to-date. Use data to find opportunities: review reports and trends to identify where business is coming from and where it could grow, identify slow periods, and develop ideas to increase bookings. Track group performance and spending to support smarter decisions. Keep systems running smoothly: manage and maintain our sales system (Delphi.fdc), provide support and training to the team as needed, and look for ways to improve processes. Support marketing efforts: help with social media and online engagement to promote the hotel, monitor reviews, respond when appropriate, and stay aware of competitors. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel sales or a related field is a plus. Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with clients and collaborating with a team. Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Comfortable working with data and using it to make decisions. Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with Delphi or similar systems is helpful. Self‑starter with a positive, outgoing attitude.
