Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Nevada to cover Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Pahrump.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday hours will vary between 4:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 5:30 am - 2:00 pm; additional days/hours as neededJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:Nevada state issued laboratory assistant licensePreferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomistDrawing on pediatrics to geriatricsAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a lab assistant license filed with the NV Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirementProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work in fast paced / high volume work environmentsAble to pass a standardized color blindness testBe at least 21 years of ageValid Driver's License and clean driving recordReliable transportationFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. If you like variety, this role is perfect for you!Pay Range: $17.75 - $27.69 per hourFloat Differential: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursementAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
