About EverLine Richmond & Central Virginia EverLine Coatings is a commercial pavement maintenance and marking company that specializes in sealcoating, line striping, crack filling, asphalt repair, sport courts, and parking lot accessories. We're a growing operation and we take quality seriously. Every job we touch is a reflection of our reputation. The Role We're hiring an Operations Lead to own the execution side of this business. That means running the warehouse, leading the crew, maintaining equipment, managing materials, and ensuring every job is delivered at the quality standard EverLine is known for. This is a hands‑on field leadership position for someone who takes pride in doing things right — someone who can lead a crew by example, keep the shop tight, and hold the line on quality. You'll report directly to the owner and be the operational backbone of the company. What You'll Own Crew Leadership Lead, coach, and develop pavement maintenance technicians on every job Set the standard for professionalism, safety, and quality on the job site Train new crew members on equipment operation, product application, and job execution Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and ensure crews are set up to execute efficiently Job Execution & Quality Oversee field operations from site prep through final walkthrough Enforce quality standards Conduct or lead job site inspections and sign off on completed work before leaving site Identify and resolve field issues in real‑time without waiting for direction Warehouse & Inventory Management Run the warehouse: organized, clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards Track and manage inventory of sealcoat, crack fill, paint, equipment consumables, and supplies Anticipate material needs based on the job schedule and coordinate restocking proactively Receive deliveries, verify orders, and maintain accurate inventory records Equipment Maintenance Own the maintenance and readiness of all equipment Perform and log routine preventive maintenance; identify repair needs early Coordinate repairs with vendors when work exceeds in‑house capability Ensure trailers and vehicles are clean, compliant, and road‑ready Logistics & Scheduling Support Coordinate daily job logistics including crew assignments, equipment staging, and materials loading Communicate schedule changes, site access issues, or job complications to ownership promptly Ensure crews arrive on time, prepared, and with everything they need to execute Safety & Compliance Enforce safety protocols on every job site and in the warehouse Ensure all crew members use proper PPE and follow safe operating procedures Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and EverLine safety policies What We're Looking For 3–5+ years of experience leading field crews in a trade, construction, landscaping, pavement, or similar hands‑on environment Demonstrated ability to run a tight operation: organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented Strong equipment aptitude — comfortable operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical equipment High standards for quality and zero tolerance for sloppy work Reliable, accountable, and proactive Clear communicator — can give direction, flag problems, and work with ownership constructively Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to operate a truck and trailer required Physical ability to perform and lead field work in outdoor conditions What We Offer $50,000–$60,000 base salary, commensurate with experience Performance bonus tied to operational outcomes Full‑time W2 salaried position Opportunity to grow with a company that's building something — you'll have real ownership over how this operation runs Direct access to ownership; your voice and judgment will matter here #J-18808-Ljbffr
